Portsea Comes to Flinders

FMPV is delighted to welcome Members and Guests to our first exciting 2024 event on Sunday 11th February, 1:00pm – 3:00pm at the prestigious Flinders Golf Club.

We are grateful to our committee member Sue Spicer for helping us gain access to this wonderful venue which has panoramic views over Bass Strait. Their food, by chef Shane Smith - ex Paringa Estate, is well renowned.

Wines will be provided by Portsea Estate and Will Ross - Owner and Assistant winemaker – will be a present to discuss each wine.

Wines will be available for purchase on the day at 20% discount and members are encouraged to support Portsea Estate since they are being very generous in supplying the wines to this event at no cost.

Wines will include:

·      2018 Traditional Sparkling

·      2020 Portsea Estate Pinot Gris

·      2021 Portsea Estate Rose

·      A comparison of the latest vintages of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir from Main Ridge and Portsea Estate

Food will include 8 pieces of hot and cold canapés and 2 handheld dishes, which will be selected by the winemaker to compliment the wine portfolio.

Tickets are $67* per head for members and $80* for guests. The minimum number of attendees for this event to proceed is 50 people.
