MORNINGTON PENINSULA VS the PYRENEES, FEATURING WINES FROM THE FMPV Inc CELLAR.
A wet & wild night outside on the evening of the Comparative Tasting; a warm & wild night inside at Safety Beach Sailing Club FOR Friends members & guests.
David Snooks catering again produced an outstanding “degustation style menu”. At the end of each course, decisions needed to be made "hmmmmm which wine did I enjoy more….. the red dot or the blue dot?"
Only when the votes were tallied were the bottles unwrapped from their paper bag coverings to reveal if the Mornington Peninsula wines or Pyrenees wines were favourite.
The 6 flights of wine included Rose, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Shiraz & Cabernet Sauvignon from both areas.
AND THE WINNER WAS…….. well you should have been there!
