SINGLE VINEVARD VISIT TO SCORPO WINERY
A favourite winery to visit amongst our members.
This small producing winery up until recently had no cellar door facilities & only sold to restaurants. This time round, meeting in their cellar door rather than their cellar shed was a very comfortable, relaxing and enjoyable.
Paul Scorp is always an entertaining & enthusiastic speaker. While Friends & guests were tasting, Paul was sharing his knowledge & thoughts his wines as well as answering questions from those attending.
Surprise for the day was the sweeter wine Pisanto, which many members took home. Paul generously provided great Friends member discounts to match his great wines so the Pisanto was not the only variety purchased.
Beautiful Rose, Chardonnay, Pinots, Pinot Gris. Need we asy more!
